Within the Partnership between the Lesotho National Commission for UNESCO (LNCU) and the German National Commission for UNESCO (DUK) entitled “Seeta Commitment 2015”, the two National Commissions in collaboration with the German Leuphana University offer a free 12 module STEP (Student Training for Entrepreneurial Promotion) training taking place once on weekends from 1st September to 26th November, 2017.
The main objective of the STEP training is to provide an answer to adverse labour market conditions and limited employment opportunities by providing trainees with knowledge and skills for an alternative career option: Self-employment.
Preference is given to applicants who recently graduated from the following Institutions of Higher Learning: Limkokwing Universty of Creative Technology, National University of Lesotho, IEMS, Lerotholi Polytechnic, Lesotho Agricultural College and Centre for Accounting Studies. However, applicants from other institutions who are striving to create employment in Lesotho may apply.
The closing date for applications is Friday 18th August, 2017. Interested candidates must hand deliver their application letters with transcripts to the Lesotho National Commission for UNESCO.
